Description
This basic mathematics class identifies the key problem-solving skills needed by all wastewater treatment operators. The mathematics exercises have been arranged according to process unit and include step-by-step solutions. OCT teaches standard Algebraic math and not dimensional analysis. Topics include: Volumes; Clarifiers and Tanks; Ponds and Lagoons; BOD, TSS Pounds Problems; Laboratory BOD5; Chemical Feed and Solutions; Pumps and Lift stations; and Disinfection Chlorine Feed.
